K.C. Fifer is an American author born, raised, and continues to live in the Upper Midwest. His interest in writing stemmed from having to write short story and poem assignments in the early years of elementary school. This passion continued into high school where some of his works were featured in an uncirculated paper.

Unfortunately, after high school, new interests included: roadtrips, music, movies, and late nights with friends. Toss in a job (a few) and long hours working, picking up a book or a pen never crossed his mind in those many years.

Fast forward a few decades, K.C.'s wife of 20-plus years rekindled his flame for writing. Her support/convincing him to write again struck the match lighting the fuse to begin the journey all over again. If not for her, these books would not exist.

Getting his fire back, K.C. spends a lot of time writing now. Mostly notes and ideas since he still has a 9-5, but manages to get a story finished once in a while to build the bank of his first series. How many books? Who knows? There are a few already stacked up waiting to be edited. Many more may follow.

When not getting immersed in writing, K.C. likes to head north to take in the tranquility and peace small northern towns provide. He and his wife always check out the local shops and establishments, but most of all, they enjoy their walks on the state park trails and strolls along the lake. When they can, his adult children accompany them on their northern adventures, and with any luck, passing on the tradition and love for these places.

Although it has been decades in the making, we hope you will join K.C. in his adventure of writing and find yourself lost in the story as much as he has.
